I had the normal American childhood: Played sports, skateboarded, video games etc. but was more of a geek. I was also a very artistic kid with an impressive output. I attended Tech school to learn Industrial Electronics as well as a traditional art TAG program where I made every kind of art, and even sold a few paintings.
There are 3 things I like to do: think, create, and sweat. If I am not sleeping I am usually doing one of those things.
Since a young age I have been balancing these forces and I believe the synergy is self-evident.
My interest in computers was instant and permanent. As soon as my family got ahold of a computer I wanted to know everything about it, and soon I taught myself to code. I made my own websites and video games and mostly shared them with friends or noone; to me the creation is the important part, and after that is the next project.
For a while it was my favorite hobby and it still is, but I decided to get trained.
I attended multiple tech-related schools ranging from the creative to the technical. I decided to focus more on web development as it does combine art with tech in the most accessible way.
I have been making apps, games and other web-related things for decades. My focus is more on the technical, but I am a full-stack developer. I love to create and I will continue to do it in a personal capacity as well as professional capacity forever, or until a solar flare destroys my computer.
I have my own style and I believe originality is the foundation of good design. I try to find creative solutions to problems even if there are established methods when applicable. That said, I do also enjoy working in a team and bouncing ideas off other people, and I don't have issues using other peoples code. After all I am one person and the level of polish I strive for is quite a workload.
